Terms of Service

Welcome to Spirit Trails. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Horizon Studios ("we", "us", "our") and apply to the Spirit Trails mobile game (the "Game") and this website. By downloading, installing or playing the Game you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

2. What you may not do

  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or extract the source code or assets of the Game, except where the law allows it.
  • Sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the Game or its content.
  • Cheat, tamper with saved data, or use bots, hacks or modified versions to gain gems or other advantages.
  • Interfere with or attempt to manipulate the ads shown in the Game, including by generating fake ad views or clicks.
  • Use the Game for anything unlawful or in a way that could harm us or others.

3. Gems, items and the shop

Gems, hints, shields, revives, hearts, potions, upgrades and unlockable characters are virtual items that exist only inside the Game. They are earned by playing or by choosing to watch optional rewarded ads, and they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and may be changed, rebalanced or removed as the Game evolves. Progress and virtual items are stored on your device, so uninstalling the Game, clearing its data or changing devices may cause them to be lost. If we ever introduce purchases made with real money, additional terms and the policies of the relevant app store will apply to those purchases.

4. Advertising

The Game is free and shows advertising, including optional rewarded ads. Ads are provided by third parties and we are not responsible for their content or for products or services they promote. See our Privacy Policy for how ad-related data is handled.

5. Intellectual property

The Game, including its name, logo, artwork, characters, animations, music, sound effects, levels and code, is owned by Horizon Studios or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not give you any ownership rights. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the Game or any feature at any time, with or without notice. Some updates may be required to keep playing. We do not promise that the Game will always be available, free of errors or compatible with every device.

7. Third-party platforms

You may download the Game from third-party stores such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. Their terms also apply to your use of the Game. Those platforms are not responsible for the Game, its support or any claims relating to it.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Horizon Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, virtual items or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Game. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continuing to play the Game after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Horizon Studios is based, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where your local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
